We are very sorry to hear the news that Farmer John has suffered a health crisis, forcing closure of Angelic Organic Farm.
Since then, many have reached out with concern for Farmers Rising and questions related to potential implications on our programming.
Farmers Rising (formerly Angelic Organics Learning Center) and Farmers Rising Rockford (formerly Roots & Wings) is NOT closing.
We want to reassure you that our programming will continue uninterrupted.
While having shared the Angelic Organics name with the Farm for many years, Farmers Rising has been governed by a volunteer board of directors and operated as an independent non-profit organization since 1999. We remain committed to our mission and will continue to serve our farmers and community with the same dedication and passion.
