FARMERS RISING ROCKFORD CSA

COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE (CSA)

At Farmers Rising Rockford, we run a CSA that brings fresh, seasonal produce straight to neighbors across the Rockford area. Each box is packed with variety and abundance that changes with the seasons, keeping every delivery exciting and full of flavor.

We have one simple mission: to build authentic relationships that motivate, educate, and inspire people to grow, get, and eat good food. Today, our CSA is more than just a farm business, it’s a socially-driven urban farm that increases access to fresh, healthy, and affordable food, while also providing meaningful employment opportunities. At our Blackhawk Courts farm and garden, located on Rockford Housing Authority property, we cultivate both crops and young leaders, growing food and community side by side.

What’s in a share?
Each week you will receive a bountiful bag filled with seasonal vegetables, flowers and herbs - all of which are grown using organic techniques, then harvested and packed by Rockford youth! Shares are large, with volume and weight changing weekly based upon vegetable availability. Melons are available at the end of the season. You can also receive two quarts of delicious, local farm-raised honey for an additional fee. This season we will grow:
